¹ The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?

² The LORD is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

⁸ To the LORD belongs deliverance; may your blessing be over your people. Selah

¹ In the LORD, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul, "Flee as a bird to your mountain."

¹ For the music director. Of David, the servant of the LORD, who spoke to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. And he said: "I love you, O LORD, my strength." ² the LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

²⁸ O LORD, you light my lamp. My God turns my darkness into light.

⁴⁶ the LORD lives! Blessed be my rock. Exalted be the God of my salvation,

¹⁴ Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

⁷ The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I received help. My heart exalts, and I give thanks to him with my song. ⁸ The LORD is the strength of his people. He is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.

² You are the God of my strength. Why have you rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

¹ For the Chief Musician. By the sons of Korah. According to Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. ² Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea.

² My enemies trample all day, because many are attacking me proudly. ³ When I am afraid I will trust in You. ⁴ In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

² He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress-- I will never be greatly shaken.

¹⁹ Praise be to the Lord, who is our support day by day, even the God of our salvation. Selah. ²⁰ Our God is a God of deliverances, and to the the Sovereign LORD belong escapes from death.

¹¹ For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

⁶ the LORD is with me, I will not be afraid; what can man do to me?

¹⁴ The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. ¹⁵ The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD does mighty things.

But my salvation will last forever! My righteousness will never fail. ⁷ "Hear me, you who know what is right, you people who have my law in your hearts. Do not fear the reproach of men or be terrified by their insults. ⁸ "The moth will eat them up like a garment. The worm will devour them like wool. But my righteousness will last forever! My salvation will last through all generations."

¹ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. ² For look! darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples, but the LORD will rise on you, and his glory will appear over you. ³ Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

¹⁹ The sun will be no more your light by day; nor will the brightness of the moon give light to you, but the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. ²⁰ Your sun will no more go down, nor your moon withdraw; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will be ended.

¹⁰ I will rejoice greatly in the LORD. I will exult in my God for he has clothed me with garments of salvation. He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

⁷ But as for me, I will look to the LORD. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. ⁸ Do not rejoice against me, O my enemy; for if I have fallen, I shall arise; if I sit in darkness, the LORD is my light.

² But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise, with healing in its wings, and you will go out and leap like fattened calves.

²⁶ “You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.

³⁰ For my eyes have seen your salvation

⁶ And all mankind will see God’s salvation.”

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was with God in the beginning. ³ Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. ⁴ In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. ⁵ This light shines in the darkness, but the darkness cannot understand it.

⁹ The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.

¹² Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”

³¹ What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

⁹ But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me.

¹³ I can do anything through him who gives me strength.

⁶ So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"

¹⁰ They cried out in a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the lamb!"

²³ The city does not need the sun nor the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God lighted it, and the Lamb is its lamp.

⁵ And there will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light; and they will reign for ever and ever.
