⁵ He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God his Savior.

²⁴ The LORD bless you, and keep you: ²⁵ the LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. ²⁶ the LORD lift up his face toward you, and give you peace.’ ²⁷ And they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them."

²³ He who sacrifices a thank offering honors me, and he who orders his way; I will show him the salvation of God."

⁶ The earth will yield her increase; God, our God, will bless us: ⁷ God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear him.

¹⁹ Praise be to the Lord, who is our support day by day, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

¹⁷ His name endures forever, his name continues as long as the sun. Men shall be blessed in him, all nations will call him blessed.

¹² The LORD remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron. ¹³ He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great.

¹ A song of ascents. Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways. ² for you eat the labor of your palms; blithed - and good with you ³ Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house. Your children will be like olive shoots about your table. ⁴ Look, thus is the man blessed who fears the LORD. ⁵ May the LORD bless you from Zion so that you may see Jerusalem prosper all the days of your life.

¹⁵ He who walks righteously and speaks what is right, who rejects gain from extortion and keeps his hand from accepting bribes, who stops his ears against plots of murder and shuts his eyes against contemplating evil. ¹⁶ This man will dwell on the heights. His refuge will be the mountain fortress. His bread will be supplied, and he will have water. ¹⁷ Your eyes will see the king in his beauty and view a land that stretches afar.

¹⁷ the LORD will save Israel with an everlasting salvation. You will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting.

¹³ "I bring near my righteousness. It is not far away. My salvation will not be delayed. I will grant salvation to Zion, my splendor to Israel."

⁵ "My righteousness is near. My salvation is on the way and my arm (power) will bring justice to the nations. The islands will look to me and wait in hope for my arm (power). ⁶ "Lift up your eyes to the heavens. Look at the earth below. The heavens will vanish like smoke and the earth will wear out like a garment. Its inhabitants die like flies (gnats). But my salvation will last forever! My righteousness will never fail.

⁸ "The moth will eat them up like a garment. The worm will devour them like wool. But my righteousness will last forever! My salvation will last through all generations."

¹⁷ "Weapons forged against you will not prevail! You will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and this is their vindication from me," declares the LORD.

¹⁰ I will rejoice greatly in the LORD. I will exult in my God for he has clothed me with garments of salvation. He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

³ "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ⁴ Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. ⁵ Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. ⁶ Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. ⁷ Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. ⁸ Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. ⁹ Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. ¹⁰ Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ¹¹ Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. ¹² Rejoice and celebrate, because great is your reward in heaven; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets before you.

¹⁷ If anyone desires to do His will, he will know whether My teaching is from God or whether I speak on My own.

²² And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction,

⁶ Just so David speaks of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works, ⁷ Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven and whose sins are covered; ⁸ Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.” ⁹ Is this blessing only on the circumcised, or also on the uncircumcised? We have been saying that Abraham’s faith was credited as righteousness.

¹⁷ For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive an abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! ¹⁸ The result of one trespass was condemnation for all men. The result of righteousness was justification (acquittal), which brings life for all men.

³⁰ It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God: our righteousness, holiness, and redemption.

²¹ God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

⁹ So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

¹⁴ He redeemed us so that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

⁵ But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the hope of righteousness.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms.

⁹ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christthe righteousness that comes from God and is by faith,

¹⁰ and not to steal, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in everything they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior. ¹¹ For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, ¹² It trains us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and Godly lives in this present age, ¹³ Looking for the blessed hope, the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ; ¹⁴ who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, zealous for good deeds.

⁴ But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, ⁵ he saved us, not by deeds of righteousness that we have done, but because of his mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;

⁹ Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
