He was a Samaritan. ¹⁷ Jesus said, Were not ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? ¹⁸ Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?"

⁴³ Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, glorifying God. And all the people who saw this gave praise to God.

²⁴ So a second time they called the man who had been blind, and said to him, "Give God the praise; we know this man is a sinner."
