John 21:1 Cross References - VIN

¹ AFTER these things, Jesus showed himself again to his disciples by the sea of Tiberias; and he appeared in this way:

³² But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

⁷ Then go quickly and tell His disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him.’ See, I have told you.”

¹⁶ But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.

⁷ But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him, just as He told you.’”

¹² After this, Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them as they walked along in the country.

¹ After this, Jesus crossed to the other side of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias).

²³ (Some boats from Tiberias landed near the place where the people had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks).

¹⁹ On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you." ²⁰ And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. ²¹ Again Jesus said to them, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, so also I am sending you.” ²² After saying this, he breathed on them, and said: "Receive the Holy Spirit; ²³ If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you withhold forgiveness from anyone, it is withheld.” ²⁴ Now Thomas called Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. ²⁵ So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he replied, “Unless I see the nail marks in His hands, and put my finger where the nails have been, and put my hand into His side, I will never believe.” ²⁶ Just a week later the disciples were in the room again and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were bolted, Jesus came in and stood among them, and said, "Peace be with you!" ²⁷ Then Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.” ²⁸ And Thomas said to him, My Lord and my God. ²⁹ Jesus said to him, Because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed.

¹⁴ This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead.
