¹⁰ "This is what the LORD says: 'When Babylon's seventy years are over I will come to you. I will keep my promise to you and bring you back to this place.

²¹ To fill up the word of the LORD in the mouth of Jeremiah, till the land delighted in her Sabbaths: all the days she was laid waste she rested, to complete seventy years.

⁶ »‘I will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them to this land again. I will build them up and not overthrow them. I will plant them and not uproot them. ⁷ I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God; for they will return to me with their whole heart.

²² "They will be carried to Babylon and they will be there until the day I visit them," declares the LORD. "Then I will bring them back and restore them to this place."’"

⁴² For so says the LORD: As I have brought all this great evil on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them. ⁴³ And fields will be bought in this land, of which you say, It is a desolation, without man or beast; it has been given into the hand of the Chaldeans. ⁴⁴ People will buy fields for money, sign deeds, seal them, and call witnesses in the land of Benjamin, in the areas around Jerusalem, in the towns of Judah, the towns of the hill country, the towns of the Shephelah, and the towns of the Negev, for I'll restore their fortunes,' declares the LORD."

² in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood from the books the number of the years about which the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, for the completion of the desolation of Jerusalem, seventy years.

⁷ The coast will be for the remnant of the house of Judah. They will find pasture there. They will lie down in the evening in the houses of Ashkelon, for the LORD their God will visit them, and restore them.
