¹ The words of Jeremiah, son of Hilkiah. He was one of the priests at Anathoth in the territory of Benjamin.

¹⁷ From the territory of Benjamin they were given four cities: Gibeon, Geba, ¹⁸ Anathoth and Almon with their grass-lands, four towns.

⁶⁰ And from the tribe of Benjamin they were given Gibeon, Geba, Alemeth and Anathoth, together with their pasturelands. These towns, which were distributed among the Kohathite clans, were thirteen in all.

He says: "Buy for yourself my field at Anathoth, for you have the right of redemption to buy it.'" ⁸ So Hanamel the son of Shallom my father's brother came to me into the court of the prison, and said, Buy my field that is in the land of Benjamin, in Anathoth: for you have a right to buy it, and you are the elder. So I knew that it was the word of the Lord. ⁹ "Then I bought the field in Anathoth from my cousin Hanamel. I weighed out the silver for him seventeen shekels of silver.

³ the word of the LORD came to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD came upon me.

¹ The words of Amos, who was among the shepherds from Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah the king of Judah and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Jehoash, two years before the earthquake.
