²⁷ You shall consecrate the portion of the ram of ordination that belongs to Aaron and his sons: the breast of the wave offering that was waved and the thigh of the presented offering that was presented.

³¹ The priest shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'. ³² "'You will also give the priest the right thigh as a contribution. ³³ "'When any of Aaron's sons offer the blood and fat of the fellowship offering, the right thigh will belong to him as his share. ³⁴ for I have taken from the sons of Israel of their sacrifices of peace the breast that is waved and the shoulder that is set apart and have given them unto Aaron, the priest, and unto his sons by a perpetual statute among the sons of Israel.

³⁷ These are the instructions for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the offering for sin, the guilt offering, the ordination offering, and the fellowship offering.

²⁸ Moses took them from their hands, and burned them on the altar on the burnt offering. They were a consecration offering for a pleasant aroma. It was an offering made by fire to Yahweh. ²⁹ Moses also took the breast from the ram of the ordination offering and presented it to the LORD. It was Moses' share, as the LORD commanded. ³⁰ Then Moses took some of the anointing oil, and some of the blood which was by the altar, and sprinkled them on Aaron and his robes, and on his sons and their robes with him. And when he had hallowed Aaron and his robes, and his sons and their robes with him, ³¹ Moses told Aaron and his sons: "Cook the meat at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Take the meat and the bread in the basket of the ordination offering. Eat them there as I commanded when I said: 'Aaron and his sons will eat it.'

²¹ Aaron waved the breasts and the right thigh for a wave offering before Yahweh, as Moses commanded.

¹⁵ The thigh of heaving and the breast of waving shall they bring with the offerings of the fat made by fire, to wave it for a wave- offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine, and thy sons' with thee, as a due for ever; as the LORD hath commanded.'

²⁰ and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh. They are holy for the priest, together with the breast that is waved and the thigh that is offered. After that the Nazirite may drink wine.

¹¹ And this is yours: the lifted offering which they give and all the wave offerings of the children of Israel I have given to you and to your sons and to your daughters as your right for ever: everyone in your house who is clean may have them for food.

¹⁸ Their flesh is to be yours; like the breast of the wave offering and the right leg, it is to be yours. ¹⁹ All the contributions of holiness that the Israelites offer to the LORD I have given to you and your sons and your daughters with you as an eternal decree; it is an eternal covenant of salt before the LORD to you and your offspring with you."

³ "When cattle or sheep are sacrificed, the priests are to be given the shoulder, the jaw, and the stomach.

²⁸ For the Law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the Law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.
