¹¹ "For both prophet as well as priest are godless, even in my temple I have found their wickedness," declares the LORD.

⁷ For the lips of the priest should guard knowledge, and they should seek instruction from his mouth, for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. ⁸ "But you priests turned aside from the way, and by your teaching you caused many to stumble. You have violated the covenant of Levi," says the LORD of the Heavenly Armies. ⁹ And I have made you despised and cast out among all the people, because you have not kept My ways, but have been partial in the law.

¹⁰ Am I now seeking the approval of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
