They will come out against you one way, and will flee before you seven ways. 8 "the LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land the LORD your God gives you. 9 "the LORD will establish you as a holy people to himself. He swore this to you, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways. 10 And all the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they shall fear you. 11 the LORD will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you. 12 the LORD will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You will lend to many nations, and you will not borrow. 13 The Lord will make you the head and not the tail; and you will ever have the highest place, if you give ear to the orders of the Lord your God which I give you today, to keep and to do them; 14 and do not turn aside from any of the words I command you today, to the right or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

1 Samuel 15:22

22 And Samuel said, Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice! To listen is better than the fat of rams!

Job 5:19-26

Job 22:2

Psalms 37:3-4
