²² For we know that the whole creation groans and labors in pain together until now.

⁶ Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

⁴ How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.

¹¹ They have made it desolate, and being desolate it mourns unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man lays it to heart.

¹⁵ And he said unto them, Go all of you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

²¹ A woman when she is in travail has sorrow, because her hour has come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembers no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
