¹⁷ From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

² And saying, Repent all of you: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

¹³ But go all of you and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

⁷ And as all of you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

¹² And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

⁹ Who has ears to hear, let him hear.

¹¹ He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

²⁴ Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

⁴⁷ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:

¹ Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

¹⁴ Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, ¹⁵ And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent all of you, and believe the gospel.

³² I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

² And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

¹¹ Even the very dust of your city, which cleaves on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be all of you sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come nigh unto you. ¹² But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city. ¹³ Woe unto you, Chorazin! woe unto you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. ¹⁴ But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

⁷ I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

¹⁰ Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.

⁴⁷ And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

³⁸ Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and all of you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)

¹⁹ Repent all of you therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

¹⁸ When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then has God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

³⁰ And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent:

²¹ Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁰ But showed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

²⁵ In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God possibly will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; ²⁶ And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

¹ Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine (o. logos) of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
