¹⁸ He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholds not the way of the vineyards.

¹⁶ Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the field. ¹⁷ Cursed shall be your basket and your store. ¹⁸ Cursed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your land, the increase of your cattle, and the flocks of your sheep. ¹⁹ Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out. ²⁰ The LORD shall send upon you cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that you set your hand unto in order to do, until you be destroyed, and until you perish quickly; because of the wickedness of your doings, whereby you have forsaken me.

²⁶ They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hastes to the prey.

¹⁶ Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflowed with a flood:

⁷ Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bends his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.

²² Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

¹⁸ Surely you did set them in slippery places: you casted them down into destruction. ¹⁹ How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. ²⁰ As a dream when one awakes; so, O Lord, when you awake, you shall despise their image.

³³ The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesses the habitation of the just.

¹⁰ Pass through your land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength.

² If all of you will not hear, and if all of you will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, says the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because all of you do not lay it to heart.
