⁵² Yet you shall see the land before you; but you shall not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.

¹² And the LORD said unto Moses, Get you up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel.

³⁷ Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, You also shall not go in thither.

²⁷ Get you up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with your eyes: for you shall not go over this Jordan.

⁴⁹ Get you up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is opposite to Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:

¹ And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is opposite to Jericho. And the LORD showed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan, ² And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea, ³ And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar. ⁴ And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I swore unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto your seed: I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over thither.

¹³ These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them far off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
