³ "I am going fishing." "We will come with you," said the others. They went out and got into the boat, but caught nothing that night.

¹⁸ As Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers--Simon, also known as Peter, and his brother Andrew--casting a net into the Sea; for they were fishermen. ¹⁹ "Come and follow me," Jesus said, "and I will set you to fish for men." ²⁰ The two men left their nets at once and followed him.

⁵ "We have been hard at work all night, Sir," answered Simon, "and have not caught anything, but, at your bidding, I will throw out the nets."

¹⁰ And so, too, were James and John, Zebediah's sons, who were Simon's partners. "Do not be afraid," Jesus said to Simon; "from to-day you shall catch men." ¹¹ And, when they had brought their boats to shore, they left everything, and followed him.
