³⁷ We indeed in all these things are more than conquerors by means of him who hath loved us.

²⁵ And when Josaphat and his people went to gather the spoil, they found cattle in abundance, and furniture and spoils and precious utensils. And when they had gathered the spoils [now they were three days collecting them, for they were many] ²⁶ on the fourth day they assembled in the valley of Praise; for there they praised the Lord, and for that reason called the name of that place, Valley of Praise, which it retaineth to this day. ²⁷ Then all Juda with Josaphat their leader, set out on their return to Jerusalem, with great joy. Because the Lord had caused them to rejoice over their enemies,

⁸ Mighty death had swallowed up; but the Lord God hath again wiped every tear from every face; and removed from the whole earth the reproach of this people. For the mouth of the Lord hath spoken.

³³ These things I have spoken to you, that you may have peace in me. In this world you will have trouble; but take courage: I have overcome the world.

⁵⁴ Now when this corruptible shall have put on incorruptibility; and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then will be brought to pass the word which is written, "Death is completely swallowed up."

⁵⁷ But thanks be to God who gives us the victory Through our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁴ But thanks be to God who causeth us always to triumph in the Christ, and who manifesteth by us, in every place, the odour of the knowledge of him.

⁹ Whereupon he said to me, My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is perfected in weakness. Therefore I will with the greatest pleasure, rather boast of my weaknesses, that the power of the Christ may shelter me.

¹⁹ Do you think we are again making apologies to you? In the presence of God we speak as in Christ. And all these things, beloved, are for your edification.

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live"not I myself any more, but Christ liveth in me; and the life which I now live in flesh, I live by that belief which I have in the son of God, who loved me and delivered up himself for me.

² And walk in love, even as the Christ loved us, and delivered himself up for us, as an3 offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.

²⁵ Husbands love your wives, even as the Christ loved the congregation, and gave himself up for it, ²⁶ that having purified it with the bath of the water, he might hallow it; indeed ²⁷ that he might present it to himself as the glorious congregation, having neither spot, nor wrinkle, nor any defect whatever; but that it may be holy and without blemish.

¹⁶ And may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, who hath loved us and graciously given us everlasting comfort and good hope,

⁴ You, children, are of God, and have overcome them, because he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

¹⁰ In this is the love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his son to be an atonement for our sins.

¹⁹ As for us we love him because he first loved us.

⁴ because whatever is born of God overcometh the world, and the victory which overcometh the world is our faith. ⁵ Who is he that overcometh the world, but he who believeth that Jesus is the son of God?

²⁴ Now to him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you, without blemish, before his glory with great joy

⁵ and from Jesus Christ who is the faithful witness, the first born from the dead, and the sovereign of the kings of the earth. To him who hath loved us, and washed us from our sins with his blood,

⁹ behold I give thee some of the synagogue of satan, who say they are Jews and are not; but do lie. Behold I will make them come, and worship at thy feet, and know that I have loved thee.

⁹ After this I looked and behold! a great multitude, which no one could number, of every nation and of tribes and peoples and tongues standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clad in white robes; and palm branches in their hands; ¹⁰ and they cried with a loud voice, saying, "To our God who is sitting on the throne and to the Lamb be ascribed this salvation!"

⁷ And when they shall be performing their testimony the beast which ascendeth out of the bottomless gulf will come to battle with them, and overcome them, and kill them, ⁸ and their corpses will be in the broad street of the great city which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt where our Lord was crucified; ⁹ and some of the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will see their dead bodies three days and a half and will not permit their dead bodies to be put in graves. ¹⁰ And they who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and be glad, and will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented them who dwelt on the earth. ¹¹ And after the three days and a half, a breath of life from God came upon them and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell upon them who beheld them; ¹² and they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, Come up hither; and they ascended up to heaven in the cloud and their enemies beheld them;

¹¹ and they have conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony and have not spared to expose their life even to death.

¹⁴ These will make war against the lamb, and the lamb will overcome them; for he is Lord of lords and King of kings; and they who are with him are called and chosen and faithful.

⁷ He who overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God and he shall be my son:
