¹⁴ Happy they who perform his commandments that they may have access to the tree of life and enter by the gates into the city:

³ Happy they, who keep judgment, and who do justice at all times. ⁴ Remember us, Lord, affectionately as thy people, visit us with thy salvation; ⁵ that we may see it in the felicity of thy chosen; that we may be gladdened with the joy of thy nation; that we may sing praises with thy heritage.

¹ An Alleluia. Happy the man who feareth the Lord! in his commandments he will greatly delight.

¹ An Alleluia. ALEPH. Happy the undefiled in the way! who walk in the law of the Lord. ² Happy they who search his testimonies, and seek him with their whole ³ heart: for they are not workers of iniquity; they have walked in his ways. ⁴ Thou hast enjoined the strict observance of thy precepts. ⁵ O that my ways may be directed, that I may keep thy rules of rectitude. ⁶ Then I cannot be put to shame, when I have respect to all thy commandments.

¹ Thus saith the Lord, Keep judgment and practise righteousness; for my salvation is near, just ready to come, and my saving kindness to be revealed. ² Happy the man who doth these things and the mortal who adhereth to them; and who is careful not to profane my sabbaths, and who restraineth his hands from doing evil.

¹² Happy he who will wait and come to a thousand three hundred and thirty five days.

²¹ Not every one who saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who doeth the will of my father who is in heaven. ²² Many will say to me on that day Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name cast out demons, and in thy name done many miracles, ²³ to whom I will then declare, I never acknowledged you; Depart from me ye who work iniquity. ²⁴ Therefore whoever heareth these words of mine and putteth them in practice, him I will compare to a prudent man, who built his house upon the rock. ²⁵ When the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, it did not fall, because it was founded on the rock. ²⁶ But whoever heareth these words of mine, and doth not put them in practice, may be compared to a foolish man, who built his house on the sand. ²⁷ When the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; it fell, and great was the ruin thereof.

³⁷ Happy those servants, whom the master, when he cometh, shall find watching. Verily I say to you, he will gird himself, and having placed them at table, will come and wait upon them. ³⁸ And whether he come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them in such a state, happy are those servants.

¹² Art thou greater than our father Jacob, who gave us this well, and drank thereof, himself, and his children, and his cattle?

⁷ therefore Jesus said to them again, Verily, verily I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

⁹ I am the door. If any enter in by me, it shall be safe, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

⁶ Jesus saith to him, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one cometh to the father but by me.

¹⁵ If you love me keep my commandments,

²¹ He who hath my commandments and keepeth them; he. it is who loveth me. And he who loveth me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him. ²² Judas [not the Iscariot] saith to him, Master, How is it that thou wilt manifest thyself to us, and not to the world?" ²³ Jesus in reply, said to him, If any one love me, he will keep my word and my Father will love him; and we will come to him and make an abode with him.

¹⁰ If you keep my commandments, you shall continue in my love; as I have kept my Father's commandments and continue in his love. ¹¹ These things I have spoken to you that my joy may continue, and that your joy may be complete. ¹² This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. ¹³ No one hath greater love than this, that he would lay down his life for his friends. ¹⁴ You are my friends, if you do what I command you.

¹⁹ The circumcision is nothing, and the uncircumcision is nothing, in comparison with keeping the commandments of God.

⁹ But take heed that this liberty of yours do not prove a stumbling block to the weak.

⁵ Have we not a power to take along with us a sister, wife as well as the other apostles, and the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?

⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision availeth any thing, but a belief made operative by love.

³ Now, everyone who hath this hope in him purifieth himself as he is pure.

²³ Now this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his son Jesus Christ and love one another, as he hath commanded us. ²⁴ And he who keepeth his commandments will abide in him, and he will abide in that man. And by this we know that he abideth in us, even by the spirit which he hath given us.

³ for this is the love of God that we keep his commandments. Now his commandments are not grievous,

⁷ Whosoever hath an ear to hear let him hear what the spirit saith to the congregations. To him who overcometh I will give to eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of the paradise of God."

¹⁴ And I said to him, "Sir, thou knowest" Then he said to me, "These are they who have come out of great affliction and have washed their robes and made them white by the blood of the Lamb.

¹² and it had a great and high wall with twelve gates and at the gates twelve angels and [on the gates] were graven the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel

²⁷ And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing which defileth or maketh an abomination or [uttereth] a lie; none but they who are enrolled in the Lamb's book of life.

² and in the middle of the broad street of the city on both sides of the river at proper distances there was a tree of life bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month and the leaves of the tree are to heal the nations.

⁷ Behold I am coming quickly. Happy he who keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.
