¹ Now this is the genealogy of Aaron and Moses. On the day when the Lord spoke to Moses at mount Sina,

⁴ This is the genealogy of heaven and earth. When they were made, on the day when the Lord God had made the heaven and the earth,

¹ This is the genealogy of men. On the day God made Adam, he made him after an image of God.

¹ Now these are the generations of the sons of Noe, Sem, Cham, Japheth, to whom sons were born after the flood.

¹⁶ And these are the names of the children of Levi according to their families, Gerson, Kaath and Merari. Now the years of the life of Levi were a hundred and thirty seven.

²⁰ Now Ambram had taken to wife Jochabed a daughter of his father's brother and she bore to him Aaron and Moses and Mariam their sister. And the years of the life of Ambram were a hundred and thirty two.
