⁴³ And having said this, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, Come forth.

²¹ And when he had breathed on the child three times and called on the Lord, he said, Lord, my God, I beseech thee let this child's life be restored to him. ²² And so it came to pass and the child cried.

³³ Then Elisha went into the house and shut the door upon them two; and having prayed to the Lord ³⁴ he went up and lay down upon the child and put his mouth on the child's mouth, and his eyes on its eyes, and his hands on its hands, and bent himself down upon it; and the flesh of the child was warmed. ³⁵ Then he withdrew, and when he had walked backward and forward in the house, he went up and bent himself upon the child seven times, and the child opened its eyes. ³⁶ Whereupon Elisha called Giezi and said, Call the Somanite. So he called her. And when she came to him, Elisha said, Take up thy son.

¹⁴ Then he advanced and touched the bier, [now the bearers had stopped] and he said, Young man, I say to thee, Arise. ¹⁵ Thereupon he who had been dead, sat up and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

⁶ Then Peter said, Silver and gold I have none. But what I have, that I give thee. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, rise up and walk.

¹² Now when Peter saw this he thus addressed the people. "Men of Israel, why wonder ye at this? Or why do ye fix your eyes on us, as if we by our own power or piety had made this man walk?

³⁴ And Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus, The Christ, cureth thee. Arise and make thy bed." And he arose immediately.

⁴⁰ Then Peter, having put them all out, kneeled down and prayed, and turning to the body, he said, Tabitha, arise. Upon which she opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, sat up.
