For the congregation was in the utmost confusion, and the greater part did not know for what particular purpose they had convened.

Acts 21:30

30 Upon this the whole city was moved, and there was a concourse of the people; and laying hold on Paul they dragged him out of the temple, and immediately the gates were shut.

Acts 22:22
