² hath in these last days spoken to us by a son whom he hath constituted heir of all things, by whom also he made the ages;

¹ Then Jacob called his sons and said to them, Assemble that I may tell you what will happen to you in the latter days.

¹⁴ And now, behold, I am quickly to return to my own place: come, let me inform thee what this people will do to thy people, in the latter days.

³⁰ In thy affliction, when all these things have come upon thee in the latter days, when thou shalt turn to the Lord thy God, and hearken to his voice;

¹⁵ The Lord thy God will raise up for thee, from among thy brethren, a prophet like me; to him you shall hearken.

²⁹ For I know that after my death you will commit iniquity, and turn aside out of the way which I commanded you, and evils will befal you in the latter days, because you will do evil before the Lord, to provoke him to wrath by the works of your hands.

⁶ But as for me, by him I am appointed king on Sion his holy mountain. ⁷ I proclaim the decree of the Lord; to me the Lord said, "Thou art my Son, this day I have begotten thee, ⁸ "Ask of me, and I will give thee nations for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. ⁹ Thou shalt rule them with a rod of iron. Thou shalt break them to pieces like a potter's vessel."

²² The Lord created me, the beginning of his ways for his works. ²³ Before this age he founded me; in the beginning; before he made the earth ²⁴ and before he made the deeps: before the fountains of water issued forth; ²⁵ before the mountains were established; and before all the hills, he bringeth me forth. ²⁶ The Lord made fields and uninhabited wilds; and the habitable heights of the earth. ²⁷ When he furnished the heaven, I was with him; and when he set apart his own throne on the winds: ²⁸ and when he strengthened the clouds above: ²⁹ and when he secured the fountains of the earth below; And when he made the foundations of the earth strong: ³⁰ I was harmonizing with him. I was the one in whom he delighted; ³¹ and I was daily gladdened by his presence on all occasions; when he finished the World and was pleased therewith; and when he was pleased with the sons of men.

² Because in the last days, the mount of the Lord will be conspicuous; and the house of God will be on the top of mountains; and exalted above the hills: therefore all the nations will come to it.

⁶ because for us a child is born, and to us a son is given, whose government is on his own shoulder; and his name is called, "The Messenger of Great Counsel." For I will bring peace on the rulers and health for him. ⁷ His government shall be great and to his peace there is no boundary, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to reestablish it, and support it with judgment and justice, henceforth and forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.

²⁴ [J] Thus saith the Lord, who redeemed thee; even He who formed thee from the womb; I am the Lord the Maker of all things; I alone stretched out the heavens and firmly established the earth.

¹² It was I who made the earth and man on it: it was I who with my hand established the heaven: it was I who gave direction to all the stars.

¹⁸ Thus saith the Lord who made the heaven, the same God who displayed the earth to view, and who, having made it, parcelled it out: he did not make it to be waste, but formed it to be inhabited: I

¹⁰ and the Lord determined to purify him from this stroke: when his soul shall be given up for a sin offering; of you he shall see a seed which shall prolong their days. ¹¹ More over it is the determination of the Lord to remove him from the trouble of his soul; to shew him light and fashion him for knowledge; to justify the Righteous One who is serving many well, when he shall bear away their sins; ¹² therefore he shall inherit many and divide the spoils of the strong. [p] Because his soul was delivered up to death and he was numbered among transgressors and bore away the sins of many and on account of their iniquities was delivered up;

¹⁶ will indeed come up against my people Israel, as a cloud to cover the land: in the latter days I will bring thee up against my land, that all the nations may know me when I am hallowed by thee in their sight,

²⁸ There is none but God in heaven who revealeth secrets. He indeed hath made known to the king Nabuchodonosar what must come to pass in latter days. With regard to thy dream, and the visions of thy head, on thy bed, this is it.

¹⁴ and am come to teach thee what will befal thy people in the last days. Because this vision is for days to come.

⁵ and afterwards the children of Israel will return and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and will be amazed at the Lord and at his goodness in the last days.

¹ But it shall come to pass in the last of these days, that the mountain of the Lord shall be conspicuous: it shall be established on the tops of the mountains, and raised high above the hills; and peoples shall hasten to it.

¹⁷ and lo! a voice from heaven said,"This is my son, the Beloved, in whom I am well pleased."

⁵ While he was yet speaking, behold! a bright cloud overshadowed them; and lo! from the cloud, a voice, saying, This is my Son, the Beloved, in whom I am well pleased. Hear ye him.

³⁸ But when the tenants saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir. Come let us kill him and keep possession of his inheritance.

⁶³ But Jesus was silent. Then the chief priest addressing him, said, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou art the Christ, the son of God.

¹⁸ Then Jesus came near and spoke to them, saying, All power in heaven and on earth is given to me.

⁶ Therefore, at last, having an only son, his beloved, he sent him also to them, saying, They will reverence mv son.

³ By him all things were made, and without him there was not made one single thing.

¹⁴ Now the Word became incarnate, and dwelt as in a tent among us, and we beheld his glory; a glory as of an only begotten from the father. He was full of grace and truth.

¹⁷ Because the law was given by Moses grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. ¹⁸ No one hath ever seen God. This only begotten son, who is in the bosom of the father, even he hath made him known.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but have everlasting life.

²⁵ There was therefore a dispute between some of the disciples of John, and the Jews, respecting purification,

³ Jesus knowing that the father hath given all things into his hands, and that he had come forth from God, and is going to God,

¹⁵ I no longer call you servants; because the servant doth not know what his master doth. But I have called you friends, because I have made known to you all that I heard from my Father.

¹⁵ All that the Father hath is mine; therefore I said, He will receive of mine, and communicate to you.

² that, as thou hast given him power over all flesh, he may, according to all that thou hast given him, give to these everlasting life.

¹⁷ "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, that I will pour out a portion of my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; and your young men shall see visions; and your old men shall dream dreams;

³⁶ According to the word which he sent to the children of Israel, when he published the glad tidings of peace by Jesus Christ, He is Lord of all.

⁴ him who was determinately marked out as son of God by a power, according to a spirit of holiness, of rising up from the dead,]

¹⁷ and if children, then heirs; heirs indeed of God, and joint heirs with Christ if we suffer with him so that with him we may also be glorified.

⁶ yet to us there is out one God, the father of all, of whom are all things and we for him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things and we by him.

²⁵ For he must reign until he hath put all the enemies under his feet. ²⁶ The last enemy, death, is to be destroyed: ²⁷ for he hath put all under his feet. "But when it is said, That all are subjected; it is evident that there is an exception of him who subjected the all to him;

⁴ but when the fulness of time was come, God sent forth his son, born of a woman; born under law

¹⁰ for the dispensation of the fulness of times, to bring all things again under one head in Christ, both those in heaven and those on earth"even in him,

²⁰ of his which he exerted in the Christ: Having raised Him from the dead, he set him at his right hand, in the heavenly kingdom, ²¹ far above all principality and power, and might, and dominion, and every name which is named, not only in this age but in that to come; ²² and put all things under his feet, and constituted him head over all for the congregation, ²³ which is his body; the fulness of him who filleth all in all.

⁹ and to enlighten all men with respect to the dispensation of this secret, which God who created all things by Jesus Christ had hidden from the ages,

⁹ wherefore God highly exalted him, and granted him a name which is above every name, ¹⁰ that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those beneath the earth; ¹¹ and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the father.

¹⁶ Because all the things which are in the heavens and which are on the earth were created by him, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers, they were all created by him, and for him; ¹⁷ therefore he is before all, and they are all kept in consistence by him, ¹⁸ and he is the head of the body, namely of the congregation. He who is the beginning is a first born from the dead that in all things he might be pre-eminent.

⁵ for to which of those messengers did he ever say, "Thou art my son, this day I have begotten thee. "And again, "I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son?"

⁸ but with respect to the son, "Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: The sceptre of thy kingdom is a sceptre of rectitude:

³ how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation, which was first published by the Lord, and confirmed for us by them who heard him,

⁸ And set him over the works of thy hands. Thou hast put all things under his feet." For when he put all things under his feet, he left nothing which was not put in subjection to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him. ⁹ But we see him who was made a little lower than angels [namely] Jesus, on account of suffering death crowned with glory and honour, that so he by the favour of God might taste death for every man.

³ of whose father and mother there is no mention, no account of descent, nor of the beginning of his days, nor of the end of his life, but likened to the son of God he abideth a priest continually.

²⁶ else he then must have suffered many a time from the foundation of the world; but now once for all, at the end of the ages, he hath been manifested for the purpose of abolishing sin offerings by the sacrifice of himself.

³ By faith we understand that the ages were arranged by a word of God, that the things seen should not at all be out of things which appear.

²⁰ fore-ordained indeed before the foundation of the world, and manifested in these last times, for the sake of you

³ knowing this first, that in the last day scoffers will come, walking after their own desires,

¹⁸ For they assured you that in the last time there would be scoffers, walking after their own wicked desires.
