¹² The earth indeed produced the grassy plant with sowing seed according to kind and according to likeness, and the fruit tree together with fruit, the seed of which is in it, according to kind, in the earth. And God saw that it was good.

¹⁰ For as the rain when it descendeth, or snow, from the heavens, doth not return thither, till it hath watered the earth, and caused it to generate and bloom and yield seed for the sower and bread for food; ¹¹ so shall it be with my word: when it hath proceeded from my mouth, it shall not be reversed, till all are accomplished which I willed; and till I prosper thy ways and my commandments.

¹¹ and like the earth blooming with flowers. And as a garden causeth its seeds to vegetate, so will the Lord cause righteousness to spring up and joy in the presence of all nations.

²⁴ Another parable he stated to them, saying, The reign of the heavens may be compared to a man sowing good seed in his field. ²⁵ But when the men were asleep; his enemy came and sowed darnel among the wheat, and went away. ²⁶ And when the blade sprang up and put forth the ear, then the darnel appeared.

²⁸ For the earth of itself produceth first a blade, then an ear, then full grains in the ear.

⁴⁴ For every tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thorns; nor grapes from a bramble bush.

¹⁰ and may He who furnisheth abundantly seed for the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed, and increase the products of your righteousness!]

⁷ Be not deceived. God is not to be imposed on; for whatever a man soweth, that he shall reap.
