¹² and thou shalt take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with thy finger; and all the rest of the blood thou shalt pour out at the base of the altar.

³⁶ thou shalt offer on the day of the purification a young bull for a sin offering, and thou shalt purify the altar, when thou consecratest upon it, and anoint it so as to hallow it.

²⁵ And the priest with his finger shall put some of the blood of this sin offering on the horns of the altar of whole burnt offerings. Now all the blood thereof he is to pour out at the base of the altar of whole burnt offerings

³⁰ And the priest shall take some of the blood thereof with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of whole burnt offerings. Now all the blood thereof he is to pour out at the base of the altar.

³⁴ and the priest having taken up with his finger some of the blood of the sin offering shall put it on the horns of the altar of whole burnt offerings. Now all the blood thereof he is to pour out at the base of the altar of whole burnt offerings:

¹⁹ and sprinkle some of the blood against it seven times with his finger, and purify it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.

¹⁵ Then the ariel four cubits and from the ariel and upwards the horns one cubit. ¹⁶ And the ariel is twelve cubits long by twelve broad, the four angles and sides being equal. ¹⁷ And the propitiatory is fourteen cubits long and fourteen cubits broad, its four sides being equal. And the border encircling it all around is half a cubit; and the compass of it a cubit all around. And the steps up to it face the east.

²² And on the second day they shall take two kids of the goats without blemish for a sin offering and make atonement for the altar as they did with the young bull.

²⁶ For seven days they shall offer these sacrifices without blemish, and make atonement for the altar and purify it and shall fill their own hands.

²¹ And in like manner he sprinkled the tabernacle and all the utensils for the holy service with blood. ²² And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood. Indeed without a shedding of blood there was no remission. ²³ There was therefore a necessity that the things which were symbols of those in heaven, should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves, with sacrifices better than these.
