⁴⁵ A people which I knew not shall be my slaves, Strangers have yielded me feigned obedience. Soon as they heard they became submissive.

²⁹ Blessed art thou, Israel! Who is like thee, people saved by the Lord! Thy helper will protect thee, His sword shall be thy boast, Thine enemies shall submit to thee, And thou shalt ride upon their neck.
