¹⁸ I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, so that the shame of your nakedness does not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye-salve, that you may see.

⁷ I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel: My inner reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

⁸ "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with My eye.guide you with My eye: In Hebrew; counsel you, My eye shall be upon you

²⁴ You shall guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

¹¹ because they rebelled against the words of God, and despised the counsel of the Most High:

²⁵ but you have disregarded all my counsel, and would have none of my reproof:

³⁰ They would have none of my counsel: They despised all my reproof.

²⁰ Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter end.

²³ Buy the truth, and do not sell it; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.

² I counsel you to keep the king's commandment, and in that regard keep the oath of God.

³ Your nakedness shall be uncovered, yes, your shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet you as a man.

¹ "Ho, everyone who thirsts, all of you come to the waters, and he who has no money; come all of you, buy, and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

²⁶ Therefore I will discover your skirts on your face, that your shame may appear.

² And many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

¹¹ Pass on your way, you inhabitant of Saphir, having your shame naked: The inhabitant of Zaanan did not come forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive from you his standing.

⁵ "Behold, I am against you", says the LORD of hosts; "and I will expose your skirts upon your face, and I will show the nations your nakedness, and the kingdoms your shame.

³ And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: And He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness.

⁴⁴ Again, the kingdom of heaven is likened to treasure hid in a field; which when a man has found it, he hides it, and out of joy over it he goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field.

⁹ But the wise answered, saying, 'Not so, lest there not be enough for us and you: But rather go to those that sell, and buy for yourselves.'

²¹ So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."

⁶ When He had spoken in this manner, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay; ⁷ and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which by interpretation is, Sent). Therefore he went his way, washed, and came back seeing. ⁸ Therefore the neighbors, and those who had previously seen him, that he was blind, said, "Is not this he who sat and begged?" ⁹ Some said, "This is he": Others said, "He is like him": But he said, "I am he." ¹⁰ Therefore they said to him, "How were your eyes opened?" ¹¹ He answered and said, "A Man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed my eyes, and said to me, 'Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash': And I went and washed, and I received sight."

¹² Now if any man builds upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; ¹³ every man's work shall be made manifest: For the Day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall prove every man's work, of what sort it is.

³ If as should be that we being clothed shall not be found naked.

⁹ For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that through His poverty you might be rich.

¹⁸ that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

⁵ Hearken, my beloved brethren, has not God chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He has promised to those that love Him?

⁷ That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found to praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

²⁰ But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. ²¹ I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. ²² Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son. ²³ Whoever denies the Son, the same does not have the Father: But he that acknowledges the Son has the Father also. ²⁴ Therefore let that abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning. If that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. ²⁵ And this is the promise that He has promised us, even eternal life. ²⁶ These things I have written to you concerning those that seduce you. ²⁷ But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that any man teach you: But as the same anointing teaches you about all things, and is truth, and is not a lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide in Him.

⁹ "I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich), and I know the blasphemy of those which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

⁴ You have a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white: For they are worthy. ⁵ He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white garments; and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels."

¹⁷ Because you say, 'I am rich, and am increased with goods, and have need of nothing'; but do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked:

¹³ And one of the elders answered, saying to me, "What are these which are arrayed in white robes? And where did they come from?"

¹⁵ "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame."

⁸ And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: For the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
