² And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

¹¹ He shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied: By His knowledge my righteous servant shall justify many; for He shall bear their iniquities.

¹ "Sing, O barren, you who did not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who did not travail with child: For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife", said the LORD.

⁷ Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she delivered a male child. ⁸ Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? ³ Therefore He will give them up, until the time that she which travails has brought forth: Then the remnant of His brethren shall return to the children of Israel.

²¹ When a woman is in labor she has sorrow, because her hour has come: But as soon as she has delivered the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a baby is born into the world.

²⁷ For it is written, "Rejoice, you barren that do not bear; break forth and cry, you that do not travail: For the desolate has many more children than she which has a husband."

⁴ And his tail drew a third of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth: And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.
