³ Do not let mercy and truth forsake you: Bind them around your neck; write them upon the tablet of your heart:

⁹ And it shall be for a sign to you upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that the LORD's law may be in your mouth: For with a strong hand the LORD has brought you out of Egypt.

⁸ And you shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

¹⁸ Therefore you shall lay up these My words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign on your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. ¹⁹ And you shall teach them your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the highway, when you lie down, and when you rise up. ²⁰ And you shall write them on the door posts of your house, and on your gates: ²¹ That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven on the earth.

²⁰ Whereas you came but yesterday, should I this day make you go up and down with us? Seeing I go where I may, return yourself, and take back your brothers: Mercy and truth be with you.

¹⁰ All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.

¹¹ I have hid Your word in my heart, that I might not sin against You.

⁹ For they shall be an ornament of grace to your head, and necklaces around your neck.

²¹ Bind them continually upon your heart, and tie them around your neck.

³ Bind them upon your fingers, write them upon the tablet of your heart.

⁶ By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: And by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

²⁸ Mercy and truth preserve the king: And his throne is upheld by mercy.

¹ "The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: It is graven on the tablet of their heart, and on the horns of your altars;

¹ Hear the word of the LORD, you children of Israel: For the LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

¹⁸ Who is a God like You, that pardons iniquity, and passes by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not maintain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. ¹⁹ He will return again, He will have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. ²⁰ You will perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

⁶ The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: He walked with Me in peace and equity, and turned many away from iniquity.

²³ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law; judgment, mercy, and faith: These you ought to have done, and not leave the others undone.

³ For as much as you are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in fleshy tablets of the heart.

¹ You therefore be followers of God, as dear children; ² and walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.

⁹ (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth);

¹⁶ "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them";
