⁹ command Aaron and his sons, saying, "This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning on the altar all night to the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

¹³ You shall prepare a daily burnt offering to the LORD consisting of a lamb of the first year without blemish: You shall prepare it every morning. ¹⁴ And you shall prepare a food offering for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of a hin of oil, to temper with the fine flour; a food offering continually by a perpetual ordinance to the LORD. ¹⁵ Thus they shall prepare the lamb, and the food offering, and the oil, every morning for a continual burnt offering."

¹³ Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said to that certain saint which spoke, "How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?"

³¹ And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that makes desolate.

¹¹ And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

²⁹ The next day John saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world.

¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: ²⁰ Who truly was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
