⁸ I will not reprove you for your sacrifices or your burnt offerings, to have been continually before me. ⁹ I will take no bull out of your house, nor he-goats out of your folds.

⁸ The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: But the prayer of the upright is His delight.

¹¹ "To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?" said the LORD: "I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of he-goats. ¹² When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand, to tread My courts? ¹³ Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination to Me; the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away endure; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. ¹⁴ My soul hates your new moons and your appointed feasts: They are a trouble to me; I am weary to bear them. ¹⁵ And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: Yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear: Your hands are full of blood.

³¹ And they come to you according to the coming of the people, and they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they will not do them: For with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their covetousness.

²³ And he shall prepare a burnt offering to the LORD seven days of the feast, seven bulls and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a kid of the goats daily for a sin offering.

So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

¹⁸ For those that are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

¹⁶ They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and reprobate to every good work.

⁴¹ And it came to pass on the next day, that Balak took Balaam, and brought him up into the high places of Baal, that there he might see the utmost part of the people.

⁹ Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you:

²³ And the servants of the king of Syria said to him, "Their gods are gods of the hills; therefore they were stronger than we; but let us fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they.

²⁸ And there came a man of God, and spoke to the king of Israel, and said, "Thus says the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, "The LORD is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am the LORD.

¹⁷ As he loved cursing, so let it come to him: As he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.

⁵ O My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim to Gilgal; that all of you may know the righteousness of the LORD."

⁹ With it we bless God, even the Father; and with it we curse men, who are made in the similitude of God. ¹⁰ Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.

²⁰ And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looks toward Jeshimon.

¹ And Balaam said to Balak, "Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven oxen and seven rams. ² And Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bull and a ram.

²⁷ Get you up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with your eyes: For you shall not go over this Jordan.

⁴⁹ and all the plain on this side of the Jordan eastward, even to the sea of the plain, under the springs of Pisgah.

¹ And Moses went up from the plains of Moab to the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is in front of Jericho. And the LORD showed him all the land of Gilead, to Dan,

¹⁰ Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; give ear to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah. ¹¹ "To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?" said the LORD: "I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of he-goats.

⁶ They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a goldsmith; and he makes it a god: They fall down, yes, they worship.

¹¹ Is there iniquity in Gilead? Surely they are vanity: They sacrifice bulls in Gilgal; yes, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.

⁸ And he said to them, "Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as the LORD shall speak to me: And the princes of Moab stayed with Balaam.

³ And Balaam said to Balak, "Stand by your burnt offering, and I will go: Peradventure the LORD will come to meet me: And whatever he shows me I will tell you. And he went to a high place.

⁵ And the LORD put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, "Return to Balak, and thus you shall speak.

¹⁷ And he said, "What is the thing that the LORD has said to you? I implore you do not hide it from me: God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that He said to you."

¹⁷ then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: And the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, "Is there any word from the LORD?" And Jeremiah said, "There is": For He said, "You shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon."

²⁰ And Ehud came to him; and he was sitting in a summer parlor, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, "I have a message from God to you. And he arose out of his seat.

²⁹ And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: For He is not a man, that He should repent."

¹⁷ And yet this was a small thing in your eyes, O God; for you have also spoken of your servant's house for a great while to come, and have regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.

³⁵ Once I have sworn by My holiness, I will not lie to David.

⁹ I will not execute the fierceness of My anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: For I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of you: And I will not enter into the city.

²⁰ You will perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

³ For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

⁶ "For I am the LORD, I do not change; therefore all you sons of Jacob are not consumed.

³³ Heaven and earth shall pass away: But My words shall not pass away.

²⁹ For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

² in hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

¹⁸ That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, nor shadow of turning.

² And I will make a great nation of you, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing:

¹⁸ And Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or more.

¹³ Yes, before the day was, I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of My hand: I will work, and who shall hinder it?

²⁷ My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: ²⁸ And I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. ²⁹ My Father, which gave them to Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand.

³⁸ For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, ³⁹ nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁵ who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.

²¹ And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead the way for them; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

Is it not in that You go with us? For this reason we shall be separated, I and Your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth."

⁹ And he said, "If now I have found grace in Your sight, O LORD, let my LORD, I implore You, go among us; for it is a stiff-necked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for Your inheritance."

⁵ And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.

¹³ And Gideon said to him, "Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? And where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, "Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? But now the LORD has forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.

¹² And behold, God himself is with us for our captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight you not against the LORD God of your fathers; for you shall not prosper.

⁴ Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff they comfort me.

²³ "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel", which being interpreted is, "God with us."

³⁷ And when He was drawing near, even now at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; ³⁸ saying, " 'Blessed be the King that comes in the name of the LORD': Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest."

⁷ saying, "Blessed are those whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. ⁸ Blessed is the man to whom the LORD will not impute sin."

¹⁴ For sin shall not have dominion over you: For you are not under the law, but under grace.

¹ There is therefore now no condemnation to those which are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

¹⁴ Now thanks be to God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savor of His knowledge through us in every place.

¹⁹ Know that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them; and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

¹⁶ And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God; as God has said: "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

¹⁶ And in fact for this very cause I have raised you up, through you to show My power; and that My name may be declared throughout all the earth.

¹⁸ And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten Myself honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen."

² "I am the LORD your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

⁵ He sent messengers therefore to Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, "Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: Behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide in front of me:

⁸ God brought him forth out of Egypt; he has as it were the strength of an unicorn: He shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.

¹⁷ His glory is like the firstling of his bull, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: With them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: And they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.

⁹ Will the unicorn be willing to serve you, or abide by your crib? ¹⁰ Can you bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? Or will he harrow the valleys after you? ¹¹ Will you trust him, because his strength is great? Or will you leave your labor to him?

²¹ Save Me from the lion's mouth: For You have heard Me from the horns of the unicorns.

³⁵ O God, you are frightful out of Your holy places: The God of Israel is He that gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God.

¹⁰ But You shall exalt my horn like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

¹⁵ And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."

⁶ Come now therefore, I implore you, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: Peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: For I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed. ⁷ And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came to Balaam, and spoke to him the words of Balak.

²² Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among those that were slain by them.

¹⁹ Oh how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those that fear You; which You have worked for those that trust in You before the sons of men!

⁴ Who has worked and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am He.

¹⁶ saying, "What shall we do to these men? For indeed it is apparent to all those who dwell in Jerusalem that a notable miracle has been done by them; and we cannot deny it.

¹² And by the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were performed among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's Porch.

¹⁴ And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women.)

³⁸ how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: Who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil; for God was with Him.

¹² Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had worked among the Gentiles by them.

²⁰ And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

²³ But they had heard only that, "He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith which he once destroyed." ²⁴ And they glorified God in me.

⁸ For the word of the Lord sounded out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith towards God is spread abroad; so that we do not need to speak anything. ⁹ For they themselves bring word to us regarding what manner of entering in we had used among you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

⁹ Judah is a lion's whelp: From the prey, my son, you have gone up: He stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

²⁷ Benjamin shall tear in pieces as a wolf: In the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil."

²⁰ And of Gad he said, "Blessed be he that enlarges Gad: He dwells as a lion, and tears the arm with the crown of the head.

¹² as a lion that is voracious of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.

³⁰ A lion which is strongest among beasts, and does not turn away for any;

⁴ For thus the LORD has spoken to me, "As like the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds are called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: So shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for Mount Zion, and for itS Hill.

⁴⁴ And in the days of these kings the God of heaven shall set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: And the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

⁸ The lion has roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken, who can help but prophesy?

⁸ And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the wild beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: Who, if he goes through, both treads down, and tears in pieces, and none can deliver. ⁹ Your hand shall be lifted up upon your adversaries, and all your enemies shall be cut off.

¹¹ Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feeding place of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them afraid?

⁴ Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together. ⁵ And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: And they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.

⁶ In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people compassed around, on the right hand and on the left: And Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

⁵ Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep: Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book, and to loose its seven seals."

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. ¹² His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but he Himself. ¹³ And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: And His name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: And He shall rule them with a rod of iron: And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. ¹⁶ And He has on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. ¹⁷ Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God; ¹⁸ that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses, and of those that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great." ¹⁹ And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. ²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles before him, with which he deceived those that had received the mark of the beast, and those that worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: And all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

¹ Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? ² The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His anointed, saying, ³ "Let us break their bands apart, and cast away their cords from us."

¹² And he answered and said, "Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD has put in my mouth? ¹³ And Balak said to him, "Come, I implore you, with me to another place, from where you may see them: You shall see but the utmost part of them, and shall not see them all: And curse me them from there.

¹² And Balaam said to Balak, "Spoke I not also to your messengers which you sent to me, saying, ¹³ if Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of my own mind; but what the LORD said, "that will I speak?

¹⁴ And Micaiah said, "As the LORD lives, what the LORD said to me, that will I speak.

¹³ And Micaiah said, "As the LORD lives, even what my God said, "that will I speak.

¹⁹ But Peter and John answered and said to them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. ²⁰ For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard."

²⁹ But Peter and the other apostles answered and said, "We ought to obey God rather than men.

¹³ And Balak said to him, "Come, I implore you, with me to another place, from where you may see them: You shall see but the utmost part of them, and shall not see them all: And curse me them from there.

¹⁹ God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: Has he said, "and shall he not do it? Or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good? ²⁰ Behold, I have received commandment to bless: And he has blessed; and I cannot reverse it.

¹³ But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? And what his soul desires, even that he does.

²¹ There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

³⁰ There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.

²⁷ For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who shall cancel it? And his hand is outstretched, and who shall turn it back?
