⁷ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And there shall be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places.

⁶ And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: For God did vex them with all adversity.

¹⁹ Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts the land is darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: No man shall spare his brother. ²⁰ And he shall snatch on the right hand side, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand side, and they shall not be satisfied: Every man shall eat the flesh of his own arm: ²¹ Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: And they together shall be against Judah. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is outstretched still.

² "And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: And they shall fight everyone against his brother, and everyone against his neighbor; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

¹⁹ The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is dissolved clean, the earth is moved exceedingly. ²⁰ The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression of it shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. ²¹ And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. ²² And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days they shall be visited. ²³ Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in Mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his elders gloriously.

²¹ For thus says the Lord GOD; "How much more when I send My four sore judgments on Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off man and beast from it?

²⁷ I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: And it shall be no more, until He come whose right it is; and I will give it Him." '

³⁰ And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. ³¹ The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD comes.

²¹ "Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, 'I will shake the heavens and the earth; ²² and I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

² "For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses pillaged, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city." ³ Then the LORD shall go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle. ⁴ And His feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall split in the middle of it toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

¹³ And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold, everyone, on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.

¹¹ And great earthquakes shall be in diverse places, and famines, and pestilences; and there shall be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

²⁵ And there shall be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; ²⁶ men's hearts failing them from fear, and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth: For the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

¹⁹ And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke:

²⁸ And one of them stood up, named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great famine throughout all the world: Which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

²⁷ Now this phrase, "Yet once more", signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, likewise of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

⁸ Then I looked, and behold a pale horse: And his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given to them over a quarter of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the wild beasts of the earth.
