¹⁸ O earth, cover not you my blood, and let my cry have no place.

¹¹ And now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened her mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand;

⁵ And cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before you: For they have provoked you to anger before the builders.

⁹ Will God hear his cry when trouble comes on him?

¹⁸ If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: ¹⁹ But truly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer.

¹⁵ And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: Yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear: Your hands are full of blood.

²¹ For, behold, the LORD comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: The earth also shall disclose her blood, and will no longer cover her slain.

⁹ Then you shall call, and the LORD shall answer; you shall cry, and He shall say, 'Here I am.' If you take away the yoke from the midst of you, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; ¹⁰ and if you draw out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then your light shall rise in obscurity, and your darkness be like the noon day:

²⁹ O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

⁷ For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it on the top of a rock; she did not pour it upon the ground, to cover it with dust;

³ You ask, and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts. ⁴ You adulterers and adulteresses, do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
