⁹ And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them.

²⁵ The LORD shall cause you to be smitten before your enemies: You shall go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: And shall be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

³⁷ And you shall become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations where the LORD shall lead you.

⁶⁵ And among these nations shall you find no ease, neither shall the sole of your foot have rest: But the LORD shall give you there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: ⁶⁶ And your life shall hang in doubt before you; and you shall fear day and night, and shall have none assurance of your life: ⁶⁷ In the morning you shall say, "Would God it were even! And at sunset you shall say, "Would God it were morning! For the fear of your heart with which you shall fear, and for the sight of your eyes which you shall see.

⁷ Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:

²⁰ then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.

¹³ You make us a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and a derision to those that are all around us. ¹⁴ You make us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.

¹⁸ As he clothed himself with cursing as with a garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones. ¹⁹ Let it be to him as the garment which covers him, and for a girdle with which he is continually girded.

¹⁵ And you shall leave your name for a curse to My chosen: For the Lord GOD shall slay you, and call his servants by another name:

⁴ And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.

⁸ And I will make this city desolate, and a hissing; everyone who passes by it shall be astonished and hiss because of all its plagues.

¹⁸ To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and her kings, and her princes, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse; as it is this day;

⁶ then I will make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth." ' "

¹⁸ And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and a hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations where I have driven them:

²² and a curse shall be taken up by all the captivity of Judah who are in Babylon concerning them, saying, "The LORD make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire";

¹⁷ Therefore thus says the LORD; 'You have not listened to Me, in proclaiming liberty, everyone to his brother, and every man to his neighbor: Behold, I proclaim a liberty for you', said the LORD, 'to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

¹⁸ For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; 'As My anger and My fury has been poured forth on the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall My fury be poured forth on you, when you shall enter into Egypt: And you shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and you shall see this place no more.'

¹² And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: They shall die, from the least even to the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: And they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.

²² So that the LORD could no longer bear it, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which you have committed; therefore your land is a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as it is this day.

¹⁵ All who pass by clap their hands at you; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, "Is this the city that men call 'The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth'?" ¹⁶ All your enemies have opened their mouth against you: They hiss and gnash the teeth: They say, "We have swallowed her up: Certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it." ¹⁷ The LORD has done that which He had devised; He has fulfilled His word that He had commanded in the days of old: He has thrown down, and has not pitied: And He has caused your enemy to rejoice over you, He has set up the horn of your adversaries.

¹ "And you, son of man, take a sharp knife, take a barber's razor, and cause it to pass on your head and on your beard: Then take balances to weigh and divide the hair. ² You shall burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: And you shall take a third part, and smite around it with a knife: And a third part you shall scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

¹² A third part of you shall die with the pestilence, and they shall be consumed with famine in the midst of you: And a third part shall fall by the sword all around you; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them. ¹³ Thus shall My anger be accomplished, and I will cause My fury to rest on them, and I will be comforted: And they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in My zeal, when I have accomplished My fury in them.

³ and say to the Ammonites, 'Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus says the Lord GOD; "Because you said, 'Aha', against My sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

² "Son of man, because Tyrus has said against Jerusalem, 'Aha, she who was the gates of the people is broken: She has turned to me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste:'

² Thus says the Lord GOD; "Because the enemy has said against you, 'Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession': " ' ³ Therefore prophesy and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD; "Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the residue of the heathen, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:"
