⁸ And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, "Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD has made with you concerning all these words."

²⁵ In the same manner He also took the cup, when he had sipped, saying, "This cup is the new testament in My blood: This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."

⁷ In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace;

¹⁸ Whereby neither was the first testament dedicated without blood. ¹⁹ For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, ²⁰ saying, "This is the blood of the testament which God has enjoined to you." ²¹ Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.

⁴ For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. ⁵ Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says, "You would not like sacrifice and offering, but You have prepared Me a body:

²⁰ Now the God of peace, that brought forth again our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

² elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you, and peace, be multiplied.
