³² let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And those crucified with him reproached him.

¹⁷ All the generations therefore, from Abraham to David, are fourteen generations; and from David to the Babylonian exile, fourteen generations; and from the Babylonian exile to the Christ, fourteen generations.

⁴⁴ The robbers also that were crucified with him did the same, and reproached him.

Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be to you. ²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, Reach here your finger and behold my hands, and reach your hand and put it in my side, and be not faithless but believing. ²⁸ Thomas answered and said to him, My Lord and my God. ²⁹ Jesus said to him, Because you have seen me you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and believed.

³ For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief destroy the faith of God?
