⁹ There shall not be, within thee, a foreign GOD,––Neither shalt thou bow down to a strange GOD:

³ Thou shalt not have other gods, besides me. ⁴ Thou shalt not make to thee an image, or any form, that is in the heavens above,––or that is in the earth beneath,––or that is in the waters, beneath the earth: ⁵ thou shalt not bow thyself down to them, nor be led to serve them––For, I, Yahweh, thy God, am a jealous GOD, visiting the iniquity of fathers, upon sons, unto three [generations] and unto four, of them that hate me;

¹⁴ Ye shall not go after other gods,––of the gods of the peoples who are surrounding you;

¹² Yahweh alone, did lead him,––And there was with him no GOD of a stranger.

²⁰ If we had forgotten the Name of our God, And had spread forth our hands unto the GOD of the foreigner,

¹² I, have told––and will save, and make known, That there is, among you, no strange one; And, ye, are my witnesses, Declareth Yahweh, That, I, am GOD.

¹¹ Judah, hath dealt treacherously, and, an abomination, hath been wrought in Israel, and in Jerusalem,–– for Judah, had profaned, the holy place of Yahweh, which he had loved, and hath taken to himself the daughter of a foreign GOD.

⁵ For, if indeed there are so–called gods, whether in heaven or upon earth,––as indeed there are gods many and lords many, ⁶ [Yet], to us, there is one God the Father, of whom are all things, and, we, for him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and, we, through him.
