¹¹ Restore, I pray you, unto them this very day, their fields, their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their houses,––also the hundredth of silver and corn, new wine and oil, for which ye have been lending to them.

⁴ and so it shall come about that he shall commit sin and then become aware of his guilt, then shall he return the plunder which he had plundered, or the extortion which he had extorted, or the deposit that was deposited with him,––or the lost thing which he hath found: ⁵ or, in anything as to which he hath been swearing to a falsehood, then shall he make it good in the principal thereof, and, the fifth part thereof, shall he add thereunto,––to whomsoever it belongeth, to him, shall he give it, in the day he becometh aware of his guilt;

³ Behold me! testify against me, before Yahweh, and before his Anointed––Whose, ox, have I taken? or whose, ass, have I taken? or whom have I oppressed? Whom have I crushed? or at whose, hands, have I taken a bribe, to cover up mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it unto you.

⁶ and, the lamb, shall he pay back sevenfold,––because he did this thing, and, for that he had no pity.

³ And there were some who were saying, Our fields and our vineyards and our houses, are we pledging,––that we may obtain corn in the dearth. ⁴ And there were others who were saying, We have borrowed silver, for the king’s tribute,––[upon] our lands and our vineyards.

⁶ Is not, this, the fast that I must ever choose––To unbind the tight cords of lawlessness, To unloose the bands of the yoke,––and, To let the crushed go free, and, That, every yoke, ye tear off?

⁸ Bring forth, therefore, fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to be saying within yourselves, As our father, we have, Abraham; for, I say unto you––God is able, out of these stones, to raise up children unto Abraham.
