³ By faith we understand that the worlds came into order at the word of God, so that what is now seen did not come out of things that are visible.

³ All things came into being through him, and apart from him not one thing came into being that has come into being.

¹⁹ Because what may be known of God is manifest within them, for God has manifested it to them. ²⁰ For God's invisible qualities — his everlasting power and deity — are, since the creation of the world, clearly seen, being known from what he has made. So they are without any excuse. ²¹ For although they knew God they did not glorify him as God and did not give him thanks, but fell into futile speculations and their stupid hearts were darkened.

⁵ For they willfully forget that there were heavens of old and an earth formed out of water and through water by God's word.
