And he will divide them one from another as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats. 33 He will place the sheep on his right hand and the goats on his left. 34 Then will the King say to those on his right hand, 'Come, you who have been blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world! 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; 36 naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you cared for me. I was in prison and you came to me.' 37 Then will the righteous answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?' 40 The King will answer, 'I tell you truly, inasmuch as you did it to one of these my brothers — even the least — you did it to me.' 41 Then he will say to those on his left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the fire eternal prepared for the Devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food; I was thirsty and you gave me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take me in; naked and you did not clothe me; sick and in prison and you did not care for me.' 44 Then they too will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not serve you?' 45 He will answer them, 'I tell you truly inasmuch as you did not do it to one of these least, you did not do it to me.' 46 These will go away into punishment eternal, but the righteous into life eternal."

He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Truly, truly, I tell you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has life eternal and does not come into condemnation, but has passed over from death into life. 25 Truly, truly, I tell you that the hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so also he has granted to the Son to have life in himself. 27 He has given him authority to do judgment, because he is Son of Man.

The dead were judged out of what was written in the books according to their deeds. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and they were judged each according to his deeds. 14 Death and Hades were flung into the lake of fire.
