¹ Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,

¹⁵ And he said to them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. ¹⁶ He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he who does not believe shall be condemned.

¹⁰ And the angel said to them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good news of great joy, which shall be for all people. ¹¹ For to you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.

²⁶ If any man serves me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall my servant be also: if any man serves me, the Father will honour him.

¹⁴ If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet; you also ought to wash one another's feet. ¹⁵ For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. ¹⁶ Truly, truly, I say to you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.

¹⁵ No longer do I call you servants; for the servant does not know what his lord is doing: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

²⁰ Remember the word that I said to you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my word, they will keep yours also.

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, Go: for he is a chosen instrument of mine, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the sons of Israel:

² As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, Separate for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them. ³ And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands upon them, they sent them away. ⁴ So, being sent forth by the Holy Spirit, they departed to Seleucia; and from there they sailed to Cyprus.

⁹ Then Saul, (who is also called Paul,) filled with the Holy Spirit, set his eyes upon him,

²⁴ But I do not count my life as precious to myself, so that I might finish my course, and the ministry, which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

⁴⁰ And when he had given him permission, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with his hand to the people. And when there was a great silence, he spoke to them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,

⁷ And I fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to me, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?

¹³ Came to me, and stood, and said to me, Brother Saul, receive your sight. And that very hour I could see him. ¹⁴ And he said, The God of our fathers has chosen you to know his will, and to see the Just One, and to hear the voice of his mouth. ¹⁵ For you shall be his witness to all men of what you have seen and heard.

²¹ And he said to me, Depart: for I will send you far away to the Gentiles.

¹ Then Agrippa said to Paul, You are permitted to speak for yourself. Then Paul stretched forth his hand, and made his defence:

¹⁴ And when we had all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking to me, saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? it is hard for you to kick against the goads.

¹⁶ But rise, and stand on your feet: for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of these things which you have seen, and of those things in which I will appear to you. ¹⁷ I will deliver you from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, ¹⁸ To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance along with those who are sanctified by faith in me.

²³ For this night there stood before me an angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

⁵ By whom we have received grace and apostleship, to bring about the obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name's sake;

⁹ For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you in my prayers;

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

¹³ For I speak to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I make much of my ministry:

¹⁶ That I should be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, in the priestly service of the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

²⁹ And I am sure that, when I come to you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of Christ.

¹⁸ For they do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own bellies; and by smooth words and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the simple.

²⁵ Now to him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which was kept secret for long ages past,

¹ Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

¹ Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are you not my work in the Lord?

¹⁶ For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast about: for it is a necessity laid upon me; woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! ¹⁷ If I do this willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a commission has been entrusted to me. ¹⁸ What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may offer the gospel without charge, not taking advantage of my rights in the gospel.

⁸ And last of all he appeared to me also, as to one untimely born. ⁹ For I am the least of the apostles, and am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. ¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than all of them: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia:

⁵ For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord; and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.

⁵ I consider that I am not in the least inferior to these superlative apostles.

¹¹ I have made a fool of myself; you have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended by you: for in nothing am I behind these superlative apostles, though I am nothing.

¹ Paul, an apostle, (not sent from men, nor by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

¹⁰ Do I now seek the favour of men, or of God? or do I seek to please men? if I were still pleasing men, I should not be a servant of Christ. ¹¹ But I want you to know, brethren, that the gospel which I preached is not from man. ¹² For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came by revelation from Jesus Christ. ¹³ For you have heard of my former life in Judaism, that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and tried to destroy it: ¹⁴ And advanced in Judaism beyond many Jews of my age, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers. ¹⁵ But when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, ¹⁶ To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles; I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood: ¹⁷ Nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus:

¹³ In him you also, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

⁵ Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; ⁶ That is, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers together of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel: ⁷ Of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the working of his power.

¹¹ And he gave some as apostles; and some as prophets; and some as evangelists; and some as pastors and teachers;

¹ Paul and Timothy, servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers and deacons:

¹¹ And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

⁶ Concerning zeal, a persecutor of the church; regarding the righteousness which is of the law, blameless. ⁷ But whatever things were gain to me, those I have counted as loss for Christ.

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

²⁵ Of which I was made a minister, according to the commission of God, which was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known;

² But even after we had already suffered, and were shamefully treated, as you know, in Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God despite much opposition.

¹³ But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth: ¹⁴ To this he called you through our gospel, to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹ Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the commandment of God our Saviour, and of Jesus Christ, our hope;

¹¹ According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. ¹² And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, for he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

¹⁵ This is a trustworthy saying, and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am the foremost. ¹⁶ Yet for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might show forth his unlimited patience, as a pattern for those who would believe in him for eternal life.

⁷ And for this I have been appointed a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ and am not lying;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

¹¹ Of this gospel I was appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher,

¹ Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to further the faith of God's chosen and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

⁴ And no man takes this honour upon himself, but he is called by God, as was Aaron.

²⁶ For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, blameless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and exalted above the heavens;

¹ James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greetings.

¹ Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who, through the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ, have obtained the same precious faith as ours:

¹ Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are called by God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ:

¹ The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to show to his servants the things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent his angel to make it known to his servant John:

⁶ And he said to me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show to his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.

⁹ Then he said to me, Do not do that: I am a fellow servant with you and your brethren the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book: worship God.
