⁵ And the angel said to the women, Fear not: for I know that you seek Jesus, who was crucified.

²⁷ But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, Take heart; it is I; do not be afraid.

¹⁰ Then Jesus said to them, Do not be afraid: go tell my brethren to go into Galilee, and there they shall see me.

⁶ And he said to them, Do not be afraid: You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: he has risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

¹² And when Zechariah saw him, he was troubled, and fear came upon him. ¹³ But the angel said to him, Fear not, Zechariah: for your prayer has been heard; and your wife Elizabeth shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

³⁰ And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary, for you have found favour with God.

⁵ They were afraid, and bowed their faces to the earth, and the men said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead?

¹³ And they said to her, Woman, why do you weep? She said to them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him. ¹⁴ And when she had said this, she turned around, and saw Jesus standing, but did not know that it was Jesus. ¹⁵ Jesus said to her, Woman, why do you weep? whom do you seek? She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.

¹⁴ Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to serve those who shall be heirs of salvation?

¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as if dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying to me, Do not fear; I am the first and the last, ¹⁸ The one who lives; I was dead, and, behold, I am alive forevermore, and possess the keys of death and of Hades.
