²³ And Jesus looked around, and said to his disciples, How difficult it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!

³ And said, Truly I say to you, Unless you are converted, and become like little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

²³ Then Jesus said to his disciples, Truly I say to you, It is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven. ²⁴ And again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. ²⁵ When his disciples heard this, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? ²⁶ But Jesus looked at them, and said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

⁵ And when he had looked around on them with anger, grieved at the hardness of their hearts, he said to the man, Stretch forth your hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored.

³² And he looked around to see the woman who had done this thing.

¹⁵ Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall not enter it at all.

²⁴ And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!

⁵ Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

²⁶ For consider your calling, brethren: that not many were wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble:

⁵ Listen, my beloved brethren, Has not God chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to those who love him?

⁴ You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? whoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

¹¹ For in this way an entrance shall be abundantly provided for you into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
