²² Jesus said to him, If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? you follow me.

²⁷ For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. ²⁸ Truly I say to you, There are some standing here, who shall not taste of death, until they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

³ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us when these things shall be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?

²⁷ For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

⁴⁴ Therefore you must also be ready: for the Son of man will come at an hour you do not expect.

³¹ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

¹ And he said to them, Truly I say to you, That there are some of those who stand here, who shall not taste of death, until they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

¹⁹ This he spoke to signify by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he said to him, Follow me.

⁵ Therefore, judge nothing before the time; before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the things hidden in darkness, and will disclose the motives of the heart: and then every man shall have his praise from God.

²⁶ For as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

⁷ Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and is patient for it, until it receives the early and the late rains.

⁷ Behold, he comes with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, even those who pierced him: and all families of the earth shall mourn because of him. Even so, Amen.

²⁵ Only that you hold fast to what you have, until I come.

¹¹ Behold, I come quickly: hold fast to that which you have, that no man may take your crown.

⁷ Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.

²⁰ He who testifies to these things says, Surely I am coming quickly. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
