There is no other commandment greater than these.

Luke 8:13-15

13 Those on the rock are the ones, who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; but they have no root; they believe for a while, but in time of temptation fall away. 14 And the seed which fell among thorns are those, who, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity. 15 But the seed on the good ground are those, who in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

1 Corinthians 13:1-8

1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become a noisy gong, or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so that I can remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And if I give all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, and is kind; love does not envy; love does not boast, and is not arrogant; 5 It is not rude, does not insist on its own way, is not easily provoked, it keeps no account of wrongs suffered; 6 It does not rejoice in injustice, but rejoices in the truth; 7 Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails: but where there are prophecies, they shall pass away; where there are tongues, they shall cease; where there is knowledge, it shall vanish away.

13 For, brethren, you have been called to liberty; only do not use your liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but in love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one command; You shall love your neighbour as yourself. 15 But if you bite and devour one another, take heed that you are not consumed by one another. 16 This I say, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the desires of the flesh. 17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are in conflict with one another: so that you cannot do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious; they are; sexual immorality, impurity, licentiousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, strife, jealousy, fits of rage, selfishness, dissensions, factions, 21 Envy, drunkenness, orgies, and the like: of which I forewarn you, as I have also warned you in the past, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

1 John 4:7-18

7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God, and every one who loves is born of God, and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God; for God is love. 9 In this was the love of God revealed among us, that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No man has seen God at any time, but if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is perfected in us. 13 By this we know that we abide in him, and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 Whoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love; and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 17 In this is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so we are in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has to do with punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

1 John 5:1-5

2 John 1:4-6

4 I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in truth, just as we have been commanded by the Father. 5 And now I urge you, lady, not as though I were writing a new commandment to you, but the one which we have had from the beginning, that we love one another. 6 And this is love, that we walk in obedience to his commandments. This is the commandment you have heard from the beginning, that you should walk in love.
