¹⁷ From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

⁷ And, as ye go, proclaim, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

⁹ He that hath ears, let him hear.

¹¹ He answered and said, Because to you it hath been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven; but to them it hath not been given.

²⁴ Another parable he put forth to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.

⁴⁷ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net, cast into the sea, and bringing together fish of every kind;

¹ Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom.

¹⁴ But after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the glad tidings of God, ¹⁵ [saying,] The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe the glad tidings.

³² I have not come to call righteous men, but sinners to repentance.

² And he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God, and to heal.

¹¹ Even the dust of your city that cleaveth to our feet we wipe off to you; but know this, that the kingdom of God hath come near. ¹² And I tell you, that it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city. ¹³ Woe to thee, Chorazin! woe to thee, Bethsaida! for if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. ¹⁴ But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment, than for you.

⁷ I say to you, that in like manner there will be joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninetynine righteous men who have no need of repentance.

¹⁰ I say to you, that thus there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

⁴⁷ and that repentance for the remission of sins should be preached in his name among all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

³⁸ But Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized to the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins, and ye will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

¹⁹ Repent therefore and turn from your ways, that your sins may be blotted out, in order that the times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

¹⁸ And when they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, So then to the gentiles also God hath granted repentance unto life.

³⁰ The times indeed of ignorance God overlooked; but now commandeth all men every where to repent;
