⁴⁶ »Today Jehovah will help me defeat you. I will knock you down and cut off your head! I will feed the bodies of the other Philistine soldiers to the birds and wild animals. Give me an answer so that this people may see that you are God. That you have made their hearts come back again.«

¹⁹ »Rescue us from Assyria's control, O Jehovah our God, so that all the kingdoms on earth will know that you alone are Jehovah God.«

⁹ Let the evil of the wicked come to an end. Establish the righteous, you who test the minds and hearts, O righteous God.

¹⁰ Cease your endeavors and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be glorified in the earth! ¹¹ Jehovah of Hosts is with us! The God of Jacob is our stronghold.

¹¹ Do not kill them. Otherwise, my people may forget. Make them wander aimlessly by your power. Bring them down, O Jehovah, our shield.

¹⁸ That they may know that you alone, whose name is Jehovah, are the Most High over all the earth.

³⁵ Let sinners be consumed from the world. Let the wicked no longer exist. Bless Jehovah with all my being! Praise Jehovah!

⁵ For I know that Jehovah is great, and Jehovah is above all gods. ⁶ Everything Jehovah desires he does in the heavens and in earth, and in the seas and all deep places.

²⁵ You will be driven from men. Your dwelling will be with the beasts of the field. You will eat grass like oxen and will be wet with the dew of heaven. Seven times shall pass over you until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will.
