⁹ All the nations that you have made will bow in your presence, Jehovah. They will honor (glorify) you.

¹ Sing a new song to Jehovah for he has done miraculous things. His right hand and his holy arm have gained victory for him. ² Jehovah has made his salvation known. He has uncovered his righteousness for the nations to see. ³ He remembered his loving kindness and faithfulness to Israel's descendants. All the ends of the earth have seen how our God saves them.

¹ Praise Jehovah, all you nations! Praise him, all you people of the world! ² His loving kindness toward us is powerful. Jehovah’s truth endures forever. Praise Jehovah!

¹ The vision and prophetic message Isaiah, son of Amoz, saw about Judah and Jerusalem. ² In the last days the mountain of the house of Jehovah will be established as the highest of the mountains and exalted above the hills. All the nations will stream to it. ³ Then many people will come and say: »Let us go to the mountain of Jehovah, to the House of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways so that we may live by them.« The law will go out from Zion. The word of Jehovah will go out from Jerusalem.

⁴ »What more could have been done for my vineyard than what I have already done for it? When I waited for it to produce good grapes, why did it produce only sour, wild grapes?

¹⁰ Then in that day the nations will search for and turn to the root of Jesse. He will stand as a signal for the peoples. His resting place will be glorious.

⁶ He says: »It is a small thing that you are my servant. You will raise up the tribes of Jacob and restore the preserved ones of Israel. I will also make you a light to the nations that my salvation will reach to the end of the earth.«

²² »Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations,« said Jehovah. »I will set up my standard for the peoples. They will bring your sons and your daughters in their bosom and carried on their shoulders.

¹⁰ Jehovah will lay bare his holy arm (show his holy power) in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.

¹⁵ He will startle (amaze) (astonish) many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand.

¹⁸ »Because of their actions and their thoughts, I am coming to gather the nations of every language. ³⁴ »No longer will each person teach his neighbors or his relatives by saying: ‘Know Jehovah.’ »All of them, from the least important to the most important, will know me,« declares Jehovah. »I will forgive their wickedness and I will no longer hold (remember) their sins against them.«

¹¹ »Where ever the sun rises and sets my name will be great among the people of the nations. Incense will be offered to my name everywhere. It will be a pure offering! For my name will be great among the nations,« said Jehovah of Hosts.

² »Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.«

¹⁰ When Jesus heard it, he was amazed, and said to the crowd: »I tell you, I have not found such great faith in Israel. ¹¹ »I tell you, many will come from the east and the west, to sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven:

¹³ »You should learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice’; for I came, not to call the righteous, but sinners.«

⁵ Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching when Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia. He witnessed to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah. ⁶ When they opposed Paul and treated him abusively he shook out his garment and said to them: »Your blood is upon your own heads. I am clean. From now on I will go to the people of the nations.«

²¹ »I witnessed to both Jews and to Greeks about repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Just as it is written: »How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace and who bring good tidings of good things! For they proclaim salvation and say to Zion: »Your God reigns as king!« (Hebrew: Elohiym’ malak’: God rules!) (Isaiah 52:7) ¹⁶ But they have not all obeyed the good news. For Isaiah says: »Jehovah, who has believed our message?« (Isaiah 53:1) ¹⁷ So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word about Christ. ¹⁸ I say: Have they not heard? Yes in fact their sound went »into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the inhabited earth.« (Psalm 19:4)

²⁶ In this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: The deliverer will come out of Zion and will remove ungodliness from Jacob. ²⁷ For this is my covenant with them, when I shall take away their sins.

⁸ Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcised for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers. ⁹ That the nations might glorify God for his mercy as it is written: »For this cause I will confess you to the people of the nations, and sing to your name.« ¹⁰ And again he says: »Rejoice, you nations, with his people.« (Deuteronomy 32:43) ¹¹ And again: »Praise Jehovah, all you nations; and laud him, all you people.« (Psalm 117:1) ¹² And again, Isaiah says: »Then in that day the nations will search for and turn to the root of Jesse. He will stand as a signal for the peoples. His resting place will be glorious.« (Isaiah 11:10) ¹³ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit. ¹⁴ I am also persuaded about you, my brothers, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. ¹⁵ Nevertheless, brothers, I have written more boldly to you on some points, keeping you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me from God, ¹⁶ That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the nations, ministering the good news of God, that the offering of these nations might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

⁶ This is to the praise of the glory of his kindness, with which he freely honored us, the loved ones.

⁸ To me, the very least of all the holy ones, was given grace (loving divine influence) to preach to the people of the nations the untraceable riches of Christ.

²⁷ It was God’s will to make known his secret to the people of the nations, this rich and glorious secret that he has for people. The secret is that Christ is in union with you, which means that you will share in his glory.
