Matthew 27:57-60

Mark 15:43-46

So he summoned the centurion and asked him about the death. 45 When the centurion confirmed it he granted the body to Joseph. 46 He bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth. Then he laid him in a tomb that had been cut out of a rock. He rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.

Luke 23:50-53

50 Joseph was a member of the council and a good and righteous man. 51 He was from Arimathaea a city of the Jews and was looking for the kingdom of God. 52 He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 53 He took it down and wrapped it in a linen cloth. Then he laid him in a tomb that was carved in stone. No man had ever lain in this tomb.

John 19:38-42

38 Joseph of Arimathaea was a disciple of Jesus. He approached Pilate secretly for fear of the Jews. He asked Pilate for permission to take away the body of Jesus. Pilate gave him permission. So he took the body away. 39 Nicodemus also came with a mixture of myrrh and about a hundred pounds of aloes. Nicodemus is the one who came to Jesus at night. 40 They prepared the body of Jesus for burial. They bound it in linen cloths with spices. This was the custom of the Jews. 41 There was a garden at the place where he was impaled. It contained a new tomb where no one had been buried. 42 They laid Jesus there because the Jews Preparation was close at hand.
