Genesis 3:1 Cross References - NSB

¹ Now the serpent was craftier than any of the wild animals Jehovah God had made. He said to the woman: »Did God really say, you must not eat from any tree in the garden?«

¹³ Then Jehovah God said to the Eve: »What is this you have done?« The woman answered: »The serpent deceived me, and I ate.« ¹⁴ So Jehovah God said to the serpent: »Because you have done this you are cursed above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. ¹⁵ »And I will put enmity (hostility) (hatred) between you and the woman, and between your offspring (seed) and hers. He will bruise (overwhelm) (crush) you in the head, and you will bruise (overwhelm) (crush) him in the heel.« (Romans 16:20)

²⁸ Jehovah gave the donkey the power of speech. The donkey said to Balaam: »What have I done to you? Why have you beaten me these three times?« ²⁹ Balaam answered: »It is because you have made a fool of me! If I had a sword, I would kill you.«

¹⁰ If they fall, the one will lift up his companion. Woe to him who is alone when he falls for he has no one to help him.

¹ In that day Jehovah will punish with his sword, his fierce, great and powerful sword. He will slay Leviathan the fleeing, coiling serpent, the monster of the sea.

¹⁶ »I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

³ Satan, the Tempter, said to him: »If (since) you are the Son of God order these stones to turn into bread.«

⁶ »If (since) you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. The Scriptures say: ‘God will give orders to his angels about you and they will hold you with their hands, so that not even your feet will strike the ground.’«

⁹ »I will give all this to you,« the Devil told Jesus, »if you kneel down and worship me.«

³ But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, your minds will be lead away from the simplicity and the purity (cleanness) that is toward Christ.

¹⁴ And no wonder for even Satan fashions himself into an angel of light.

⁷ In the same way, you husbands live with your wives in an understanding way. Honor the woman as the weaker vessel. For you are joint-heirs of the grace of life. May your prayers not be hindered (cut-off) (blocked).

⁹ The great dragon was thrown down, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was hurled down to the earth, and his angels with him.

² He seized the dragon, the old serpent that is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.
