¹ »Next we headed for the land of Bashan. King Og of Bashan and all his army came to fight us at Edrei.

³³ They turned around and went by the way of Bashan. Og the king of Bashan went out with all his people for battle at Edrei. ³⁴ Jehovah said to Moses: »Do not fear him for I have given him into your hand, and all his people and his land. You will do to him as you did to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.« ³⁵ The Israelites defeated him, his sons, and all his troops, leaving no survivors. They took possession of his land.

⁴ After he killed Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, and Og king of Bashan, who lived at Astaroth in Edrei:

⁴⁷ They occupied his land and the land of King Og of Bashan, the other Amorite king who lived east of the Jordan.

⁷ When you reached this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon and Og the king of Bashan came out to meet us for battle. We defeated them!

⁴ »Jehovah will destroy those people, just as he defeated Sihon and Og, kings of the Amorites, and destroyed their country.

¹⁹ Geber son of Uri: the region of Gilead, which had been ruled by King Sihon of the Amorites and King Og of Bashan. Besides these twelve, there was one governor over all the land.

²² »You gave them kingdoms and peoples, making distribution to them in every part of the land. They took for their heritage the land of Sihon, even the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og, king of Bashan.

¹⁰ He struck great nations and killed mighty kings, ¹¹ Sihon the king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan,

²⁰ And Og, king of Bashan, for his loving kindness is everlasting,
