²⁷ A man of God came to Eli. He said: »Thus says Jehovah: ‘Did I plainly appear to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house?

¹⁴ Then the anger of Jehovah burned against Moses, and He said: »Is there not your brother Aaron the Levite? I know that he speaks fluently. He is coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. ¹⁵ »You are to speak to him and put the words in his mouth. I will be with your mouth and his mouth. I will teach you what you are to do. ¹⁶ Moreover, he shall speak for you to the people. He will be as a mouth for you and you will be as God to him.

²⁷ Jehovah said to Aaron: »Go to meet Moses in the wilderness.« So he went and met him at the mountain of God and kissed him.

¹ Jehovah said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt:

⁴³ Jehovah said to Moses and Aaron: »This is the ordinance of the Passover: no foreigner is to eat of it.

¹ These are the blessings that Moses, the man of God, pronounced on the people of Israel before he died:

⁶ Then the woman told her husband: »A man of God came to me. He looked as frightening as the angel of God. I did not ask him where he came from, and he did not tell me his name.

⁸ Then Jehovah sent a man, a prophet, to the Israelites. He said to them: »Jehovah, the God of Israel says, ‘It was I who brought you out of slavery in Egypt.

⁴ They went through the mountains of Ephraim and the region of Shalishah, but did not find them. They went on through the region of Shaalim, but the donkeys were not there. Then they went through the territory of Benjamin, but still did not find them.

¹ A man of God from Judah went to Bethel. He arrived there while Jeroboam was at the altar ready to offer a sacrifice.

¹¹ But you, O man of God, run from these things. Pursue (set your heart on) righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience and meekness.

²¹ For no prophecy ever came by the will of man! Men spoke from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit.
