1 Kings 15:5

5 Jehovah did this because David had done what was right in Jehovah’s eyes. He obeyed his commandments, except in the case of Uriah the Hittite.

2 Chronicles 17:3

3 Jehovah blessed Jehoshaphat because he followed the example of his father’s early life and did not worship Baal.

1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to rule. He ruled for sixteen years in Jerusalem. He did not do what Jehovah considered right, as his ancestor David had done.

Acts 13:22

22 »When he removed him, he made David their king. He testified about him when he said: I found David the son of Jesse is a man after my own heart. He will do my will.

Acts 13:36

36 »After David served his own generation by doing the will of God he died and was buried with his fathers. His body decayed.
